little pancakes

Wednesday. 05. 16. 2012.

The tonsillectomy went well. It took me an hour to drink my first glass of water and I was so exhausted from the pain that I spent most of my day sleeping. At the moment I’m on a diet of pain medication and water. I’ve managed to have some egg pudding and chicken broth.

I’ve been daydreaming of spicy fried chicken. I have a tendency to crave for the things I’m not supposed to/can’t have.

Anyways.

I made pancakes late Monday night and it’s been a while since I had pancakes. It’s been a while since I last had fluffy pancakes. I used yoghurt instead of buttermilk and they turned out perfect. Soft and fluffy. I used a spinoff version of Alton Brown’s pancake recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/instant-pancake-mix-recipe/index.html

I look forward to having pancakes when my throat can handle more solid food. I haven’t be particularly hungry either.
