ready, set, BLOOM!

Tuesday. 05. 24. 2011.

What was a flower…

A rather nice surprise. 1st tomato flower of 2011.

…is now a tomato… a very small tomato… but still a tomato.

A tomato!

I was tending to my plants when I noticed that many of them have started to produce flower buds. I’m really excited and slightly worried. I hope that the night temperatures start staying above 8°C because the tomatoes need to go into their box outside. Then that frees up space for me to repot the chili plants. They’re just not as happy as they could be. Hang in there wee plants!

The cucumber, butternut squash, zucchini and pumpkin seedlings.

I was actually thinking the other day that I have ZERO luck with rosemary. Every plant I’ve ever bought dies. Apparently I have some luck when propagating from seed. We’ll see if they’ll stay alive.
