The bakery by my work sells a loaf of sourdough bread for 66kr (that’s like $11 CDN). So what’s the deal with this sourdough? What makes it so magical? I’m not sure.

I’ve read and heard quite a bit about sourdough breads and must say that I enjoy them quite a bit. Not exactly the best bread for things like French toast but definitely delicious when used in a sandwich.

The other day I baked my first loaf of rye bread and let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS. I’d like expand and improve my bread baking endeavours. I’m thinking that sourdough may be my next to do.
