speaking of death

Thursday. 07. 16. 2009.

I’ve never been to a funeral until this year. Today I went to my second funeral.

I was there to be support to someone who was being support to someone who was close to the one that passed away.

I worry that I’d do something horribly inappropriate. Like burst into a laughing fit.

Being at a funeral made me consider my own funeral. (Not something at all foreign to me.)

I’ve already planned the idea of having the song “Another One Bites the Dust” and rolling credits.

If I go with open casket, I’d love to have a pop up moment where I sit up half way through the funeral.

I’ve also decided that my friends and family can come dressed in whatever they want. I’ve permitted Fredrik to wear a valour tracksuit.

I think I’d like to be cremated. What to do with my ashes will require some thinking. Perhaps mix some into the coffee at the funeral dinner? HA HA.
