Monday. 01. 26. 2009.

That’s right! It’s that time of the year again! It’s a new year for Asians.

Now I know that it’s tradition to really clean the house on the eve and our flat is still a mess but we’re not traditional.

2009 is the year of the ox. That means my twin cousins will be 12. How time flies by.

I’d like to head to Hong Kong one year with Fredrik to celebrate Chinese New Year.

As with most holidays, we celebrate by eating loads of food. Back in Canada, you could get everything. Here in Sweden, well, we’re lucky that we’re having REAL Chinese food tomorrow. My mom is going to send me a 年糕 (nian gao) via Denise when she comes for a visit. I can’t wait!
