Krogen Soldaten Svejk
I was having a bit of a crappy day so Fredrik suggested that we go out for dinner.
We went to Krogen Soldaten Svejk in Södermalm. The food is Czech “inspired”. I don’t know how authentic it is comparing to the real deal.
We got the cheese and sausage platter to start, the sausages were great. That’s one thing I love about European cuisine, the assortment of meats. Both of us got cevabcici (lamb croquettes). I forgot that I’m not the biggest fan of lamb but the cevabcici was still very good. It made me think of the Turkish pizza from the place near the Manor. Then we ended the night with coffee and ice cream sundaes.
I would’ve liked to try the schnitzel but it had cheese in it. In fact most of the menu had cheese one way or another. I’m simply not that big of a fan of cheese.
Now that we have a functioning kitchen faucet, I am proud to announce that we now also have clean dishes. I was telling Fredrik over dinner about how happy I am to not have to put the dirty dishes into the oven or the cold pantry and then clean them in the sink outside.
Ull lost one of his baby fangs. I have not found the tooth, he might’ve eaten it with his food. At least now I can stop worrying about taking him to the vet to get it taken out.
