Chinese New Year
Tomorrow will be the start of the year of the rat.
For those of you who cannot read Swedish and/or are more interested in this place that we ate at. I’m gonna take this in English.
At first Cici and I were gonna make dumplings for the new year celebration. But since I have no use of our kitchen, that idea was a no go. We decided that we would try to get a table at Chinese Dragon House (the place with the Chinese menu with authentic Chinese food) but apparently it’s rather popular and both tonight and tomorrow night was fully booked. Then I remembered the place that was recommended to me a while back about a place in Gamla Stan that served dim sum. I figured that if they serve dim sum, they should at least serve other Chinese food.
The place is called Aroydee (http://www.aroydee-deluxe.com) and is in Gamla Stan. Cesar and his girlie, Ylva also came out for dinner. We ended up ordering only dim sum food. I was worried that it would not be enough food but in the end everyone was full and happy. Comparing to Toronto, it was REALLY expensive. But Chinese New Year only comes once a year and it’s not like we eat there every week. I thought the food was pretty good. It was comparable to the dim sum in Canada.
