I’ve been baking cookies. I got the recipe from joyofbaking.com and it turned out great. I didn’t make them into the suggested checkered board. I made them into pinwheels. I substituted the 3/4 cup of granulated sugar with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar & 1/4 cup of vanilla sugar ’cause I didn’t have any vanilla extract. My vanilla extract is still “extracting”. I also got a chance to use my Pyrex bowls.

I hope they’ll be appreciated at the girls night I’m going to later today.

I’m hoping to try out more recipes from the site.

I’m waiting for my second set of Pyrex bowls to come. I want to get myself a Pyrex butter dish. Well… frankly I want to fill my cupboards with vintage Pyrex items. It’s a shame that they’re so heavy to ship. Otherwise I’d be buying everything I see on Ebay. Although I wouldn’t really say that it’s an unfortunate thing for me to have something to stop me from blowing all my money. Mind you, it would be an awesome sight.
