Today started really early. Well… yes and no. People came to rip out our bedroom floor at 8am. Fredrik stayed awake for that. I went back to sleep. They’re going to come back tomorrow morning to put in the new floor. It will be grand. We’ll be able to move our bed into our room and maybe go to IKEA to get the wardrobe. Too bad Fredrik won’t be around to fully enjoy it until he comes back in November.

I think I’m getting the hang of Swedish. Last week was a bit messy but this week, I’m feeling more confident about it. I’ve been speaking simple Swedish sentences with Fredrik in the past few days. It’s rather fun and he’s enjoying it too.

It seems that 1 of the 6 packages I sent in August has arrived. I’m so excited ’cause there are some things that I’ve packed that I would love to have in my possession. I’m also relieved to know that they’ve arrived. I was worried that they would be lost in the ocean of missing packages. I wonder what’s the contents of this box. I’m thinking that it’s either the one with my dutch oven or a set of Pyrex bowls.
